Katherine Henderson is an equine artist based in Bedford, Virginia.

Formally educated at Brevard College in western North Carolina, Katherine studied fine art and art history. She is pursuing a MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. Her recent body of work is predominately oil paint, with acrylic and resin projects on the side. With clients across the United States, throughout central Europe and much of Australia her work is gaining popularity with equestrians worldwide.

Her areas of expertise are draft horses, patterned breeds and horses in motion, but she loves to work with all shapes, sizes and disciplines. She excels at capturing the light in horse’s eyes and subtle details of personality that the owners immediately recognize in their cherished equine companions.
